I realize its been a long time since writing anything. I don’t even know if anyone reads this thing when the T500 isn’t going on, but I’ll try to maintain the positive thought that more than just one person cares.
Trey has started his “real world” job now. His skills as a top-notch salesman will hopefully lead to great things in his new career. He says that he’s buying a house in Mauldin, which is around Greenville SC, but I haven’t heard if that was finalized. Kind of hard to get a home loan these days.
As for sailing,
We just had the Alter Cup Qualifier for Area D North, where Nigel and Tammy took 1st place. However, Nigel is the defending Alter Cup champion, so Olli and Joanna will get to go instead. Blade F16′s came in 1-2 again for the umpteenth time in a row. Kind of sick of that happening — but what are you going to do? All three “Velocity” Boats will be participating in the Outback Cup on Lake Murray in Columbia SC. Hopefully they have water. Lake Lanier certainly doesn’t, and Lake Hartwell is starting to look pretty bad. The entire NC, SC, GA area needs rain desperately.
My new trampoline should arrive today, and my bike that was unceremoniously “broken in” last weekend at Nigel’s place will be repaired. I’m stoked to get my toys back.
