I just got off the horn with Trey who said that he’s planning on attending the Statue of Liberty Race this coming weekend in New York City. Last year Team Velocity won this event and are holders of the perpetual trophy. The weather forcast for this year looks very iffy, with thunderstorms likely throughout the weekend accompanied by light wind from the south.
Hopefully Trey and Alan will be able to defend their title against throngs of other catamaran sailors from around the country.
