Episode 6 of the 11 part series that Adventureonline.tv has published features the 2nd leg breakdown that Team Velocity sufferred.
This weekend Tad and Bailey are going to be sailing Undecided in the Reggae Regatta hosted by Lake Lanier Sailing Club. This regatta is always a fun party, and will be mixed classes racing on the same course. This is unusual in that we cat guys don’t typically mix it up with the monohulls on the same course. While we will have separate starts, we will end up trading tacks at one point or another.
With the recent decision regarding the Olympic classes resulting in the tossing of the Tornado from the games in 2012, we multihull adicts need to figure out how to spread our base of sailors. One way of doing this is zooming around on the same course as the monos and showing them exactly what is possible on these awesome machines. Hopefully we can turn some heads and win some “converts” in the process.
Next weekend, both Trey and Tad(hopefully I’ll be there) will be at the Governor’s Cup on Kerr Lake North Carolina sailing in another mixed fleet.
Since I buried the old post with some videos, I’ll post this again to make sure everyone goes to Adventureonline.tv and checks out the 2008 Tybee 500 videos that Brian just published. They are truely fantastic.

We moved on to bigger and better hosting. This host seems to have their stuff together much more than the last place, so we’re going to be doing some cool things with the website here in the near future.
Brian Karr has outdone himself yet again. Adventureonline.tv has released an 11-part mini-series that follows the Tybee 500 up to Daytona. It includes a tons of helicopter footage and expert commentary from both Brian and THE CHUCK!
